Proficiency Testing
Laboratory proficiency testing has become a routine activity in many European laboratories. Accreditation organisations, such as the Hellenic Accreditation Council (ESYD) and UKAS (the United Kingdom Accreditation Service) are responsible for accrediting testing laboratories and may require laboratories to participate in proficiency testing schemes to become or remain accredited.
